Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. When you connect Spotify, we receive your Spotify user ID, display name and email address.

Playlist data. For the playlists you choose to transfer, we retrieve playlist IDs and titles, and the IDs, titles and artist or channel names of the songs and videos in them. From YouTube we also retrieve your channel ID and name to identify your account during the transfer.

Transfer records. For each transfer we keep which playlists were moved, which songs matched and which didn’t, the counts, status and timestamps. This powers your transfer report and history.

Purchase information. If you buy a paid plan, we receive your purchase status and email address from our payment processor. We never receive card details.

Usage data. Anonymised information about how the site is used. See Analytics.

We use this information only to provide and improve Paradify:

• Read the playlists you select, find each song on the destination service, and create the new playlist there
• Show your playlists, transfer progress, match report and transfer history
• Keep track of your plan and free-tier usage
• Send transactional emails, such as when a transfer finishes or you reach the free limit
• Investigate problems you report to us

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it for advertising or to train AI models.

Paradify connects to each service through its official sign-in. We never see or store your passwords.

• Google and YouTube: basic profile and email for sign-in, and YouTube access to read your playlists and, when YouTube Music is the destination, create playlists and add songs to them.
• Spotify: access to read your playlists and, when Spotify is the destination, create playlists and add songs to them.
• Apple Music: authorization through Apple’s MusicKit to read your library playlists and, when Apple Music is the destination, create playlists in your library.

Access tokens are kept in secure, HTTP-only cookies in your browser, not in our database. They are used on our servers only while a transfer you started is running. Paradify never changes or deletes your existing playlists.

You can revoke Paradify’s access at any time from Google Account Permissions and Spotify Account Apps. The Apple Music connection is stored only in a cookie in your browser; clearing paradify.com’s cookies removes it.

Paradify uses YouTube API Services. By using Paradify you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Paradify’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube data: song, video and playlist details retrieved from YouTube, and your YouTube channel information, are automatically deleted within 30 days of the transfer. After that, only a summary of the transfer (number of playlists and songs, status and date) is kept for your transfer history.

Other data: account information, transfer records and Spotify or Apple Music references are kept while your account is active and deleted when you ask us to delete your account.

Sign-in sessions expire after 90 days. Backups are rotated, so deleted data is gone from them within 14 days.

• All traffic between your browser, our servers and the music services is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
• Your sign-in session is stored in an encrypted cookie.
• Our database runs on a private server that isn’t reachable from the public internet, and the app connects with an account limited to what it needs.
• Backups are stored encrypted at rest.
• Only Paradify’s owner has administrative access, used for support, debugging and maintenance.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, session length, country), and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, and anonymised session replays) so we can find bugs and confusing screens. Neither receives your YouTube, Spotify or Apple Music account data.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Clarity handles data.

Purchases are handled by Paddle (paddle.com), our merchant of record. Some older subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). They collect and process your payment details, name, email and billing address directly, under their own privacy policies: Paddle and Lemon Squeezy.

Paradify only receives confirmation of your purchase and the associated email address, to unlock paid features.

We rely on a small number of providers to run Paradify:

• Hetzner for server and database hosting
• Cloudflare for content delivery, security and backup storage
• Resend for sending emails
• Paddle and Lemon Squeezy for payments
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics

They process data only on our behalf, to provide these services.

We send transactional emails about your transfers and account, and occasionally product updates or offers. You can opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Revoking Paradify’s access (see Access to your music accounts) stops any further data collection.

Paradify is not intended for children under 13.

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Paradify after a change means you accept the updated policy.
